Life is not always going to be easy and if it was, it would be pointless. Life will throw curveballs at you and life will hurt at times, but there is so much wisdom and love to be gained from trial and errors. I know that when life is getting me down, I turn to God more than ever. We are never alone even if it may feel that way because He is listening. When life gets tough, I recommend these bible verses to heal the hurt.

1. "I can do all things through him who strengthens me." -Philippians 4:13

When life throws you challenges it is important to remember that God will never give you anything in life that you cannot handle. He will give you the strength.

2. “Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God—what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect.” -Romans 12:2

3. “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” -Jeremiah 29:11

This verse really resonates with me and gives me comfort in knowing that the struggles I may be facing are all a part of my plan and will help me grow.

4. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."-Proverbs 3:5

5. "Cast all your anxiety on him because He cares for you." -Peter 5:7

I feel so at ease in life when I read this verse. God will not let us suffer alone. He will solve all of our problems when we turn to Him, He will not ignore us when we ask for help.

6. “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” –Isaiah 41:10

I know that sometimes life seems scary, but there really is so much joy in life. Some of my biggest accomplishments and growth have come from the pain I have endured and the hard work I put in and while I questioned God during those times, He answered all of my questions and prayers, and I have no doubt that He will continue to. We really are all so blessed to be living on this earth and to get to experience all of the beauty that the Lord has created whether it be mountains, oceans, deserts and to build beautiful relationships with one another.

When life seems to be knocking me down, I am reminded of the beauty and grace that surrounds us and I cannot help but to be so utterly humbled and thankful for my life. I hope you are too.

So love one another. Love your neighbors, your enemies, strangers, yourself, and our Heavenly Father. Trust in Him always. He will never betray you or leave you stranded because He loves you.

So, if you are reading this and are hurting, know that this will absolutely not last forever. There is something to be gained from pain and obstacles, and you will grow tremendously. Allow yourself to be kind, humble, hard working, and loving and life will work out the way it is supposed to and it will be beautiful.

When I was learning how to talk, I was taught both Portuguese and English at the same time. In elementary school, I started taking mandatory Spanish classes, which I did well in because of my knowledge of Portuguese. Then in high school, on top of taking Spanish, I also started taking French. Now, in college, already fluent in English and Portuguese, I'm in the process of becoming fluent in Spanish, and I have a standard high school level understanding of French.

I am without a doubt one of those people who refuses to start decorating for Christmas or listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, Thanksgiving has become an underrated holiday over the years. You barely see any Thanksgiving decorations in stores; it's like they skip right from Halloween to Christmas.

Here are some ideas as to what you can do to get the most out of your Thanksgiving break.
