As I'm entering my third year of college I've come to realize that I need help from something greater than myself. So I decided to start reading my bible in more depth and found some verse for the things that I was going through. I know no matter what I am going through God is behind me 100%, and I know he has a plan for me and for you even if it seems like he doesn't. He loves us unconditionally and we just need to trust in the plan he has for us.

If you are feeling a little brokenhearted, try these verse...

The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:17-18

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18

For when you are feeling alone...

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, your rod and your staff they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." Hebrews 13:5 (read what is in quotes over and over)

When you're feeling stressed...

For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:11

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

Stand firm, and you will win life. Luke 21:19

Trouble and distress have come upon me, but your commands give me delight. Psalm 119:143

Feeling confused...

Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this. 2 Timothy 2:7

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

For God is not a God of disorder but of peace---as in all the congregations of the Lord's people. 1 Corinthians 14:33

Needing Faith...

But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. James 1:6

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on them. John 3:36

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

When you're needing encouragement...

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with y righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Cast all your anxiety on him because he ares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. Proverbs 18:10

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all our ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight. Proverbs 3:6-7

"If you can?" said Jesus "Everything is possible for one who believes." Mark 9:23

Needing forgiveness...

The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him. Daniel 9:9

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. Acts 3:19

For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:13-14

When dealing with grief...

Blessed are those who mourn, for the shall be comforted. Matthew 5:4

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away Revelation 21:4

All of these can work for any situation. Also these are just the ones that I think help with these categories, so I encourage you to read through your bible and find the verse that mean something to you, and that help you get through your struggles.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
