Growing up, everyone always asks you what you want to be when you grow up. Once you are in college, you are grown up and you have to start planning the rest of your life, starting with your major. What you want to do everyday for the rest of your life. That's a hard thing to figure out, but God guides you in the direction fit for you. Whether you think it is right or not, God is making it happen for a reason. Here are some Bible verses to help those in need of guidance and wisdom through hard times.
Isaiah 43:2
"When you go through deep waters, I will be with you"
This verses hits hard. Right now, most college students are struggling with so many things. Each student having difficulties should know that God is with you and will always be with you; he will be right by your side when you are drowning in homework, and when you are walking across the stage.
Matthew 6:34
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
I struggle with anxiety myself, so this verse helps me through everything. This verse confirms that God has such great plans for you, that worrying is not needed. Worrying about things only make it worse. When you worry, pray. Pray for the strength to not worry.
2 Chronicles 20:15
"For the battle is not yours, but God's."
When thinking of what you want to do for the rest of your life, let that come naturally. God will battle that for you and show you what you were made to do. Do not try to alter God's plans and do something that makes you unhappy. The ultimate goal is to be happy, and God will lead you to happiness.
2 Timothy 4:17
"But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me."
When you are feeling so low, God will strengthen you! He will give you the strength when you need it. Praying hard can lead to great things, and God wants to lead you to do great things. So keep this verses close to heart.
