Sometimes when I'm feeling lost, confused, hurt, stressed out, or any other emotional whirlwind that so many of us girls endure I need little reminders from the word of God to get me through. I found so much comfort in scripture. Making time to just read a few words of inspiration can go a long way, here are some of my favorites:

Isaiah 49:23

She who trusts in the Lord will never be disappointed

I think that this verse is so incredibly important. There are sometimes, being a young adult when everything seems so tragically messy. Life seems so stressful and this verse is a reminder to trust what is in store for us.

Luke 1:45

Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her.

This goes along with the Isaiah verse, always trust that your life will be fulfilled.

Psalm 116:2

Because he bends down to listen I will pray as long as I have.

Another equally as important verse, always pray. Praying is the easiest thing you can do. I pray in the car on the way to class, before I go to sleep, before I eat, thank God for what you have and pray.

Psalm 46:5

God is within her, she will not fall.

This verse always helps me when I feel discouraged. Always remember the strength God has instilled in women. You can do anything.

Proverbs 31:10

You are worth far more than rubies.

Be a Proverbial woman. Never ever forget how much you're worth. Don't let anyone treat you like you're worth any less.

Psalm 139:1

You are beautiful for you are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Always remember you were designed for a purpose. God created you unique, wonderful, and beautiful.

Always remember you were designed for a purpose. God created you unique, wonderful, and beautiful.

Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we don not see.

Never lose sight of your faith and who you are.

Isaiah 43:2

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you.

I've had my fair share of battles, I've come out of each one stronger than I ever was before. When I reflect back, I realized God never left my side.

Proverbs 4:23

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

I've had my fair share of heartbreak, I've learned to guard my heart. Heartbreak affects every aspect of life because everything you do comes from your heart.

Proverbs 31:25

She is clothed in strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future.

An all time favorite of mine. It's my phone wallpaper, hanging in my room, scribbled in my planner, absolutely every aspect of my life revolves around this verse.

These are just a few of the verses that I have come to find comfort in, I could write the list forever. Stay true to you and find strength in God.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
