Everyone goes through anxious times and needs a little reassurance. God provides constant help and advice throughout scripture to show the way through these rough times. Below are 10 are my favorite verse to calm me down during anxious times.

1. Matthew 11:28

In the middle of all the mess and craziness of life God provides the rest we all need without any expectations

2. Colossians 3:15

when everything around you seems to be falling apart you have the peace that God brings already inside of you and that is something to be thankful for, always.

3. Exodus 14:14

the amazing thing about God is that he doesn't want anything from us in return for his protection. This is something to cling to in your weakest and most vulnerable moments, knowing that he is fighting for you in the midst of the mess.

4. Psalm 55:22

No matter what is on your mind, he will take care of it. No questions asked.

5. Romans 8:38-39

You can do absolutely NOTHING that will make him stop loving you. Ever.

6. Psalm 23:4

There is no trial that you will go through that he will not be right there with you. Even when you seem lost and forgotten, he is there.

7. Philippians 4:6

Talking to God is something that is often taken for granted but can offer peace like none other. Taking the time to sit and chat can show another perspective to help solve the situation.

8. Proverbs 3:5

Even when you think that you know whats best, you don't but God does.

9. Psalm 56:3

Fear is powerful but so is God. By putting your trust in the Lord you're not alone in any situation.

10. Matthew 6:34

Don't waste today by worrying about tomorrow. God has given you today to live, so live.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
