Who would have thought that basketball would have given me the best friend I could ask for. From tryouts in the seventh grade to playing together through sophomore year, we always knew what the other was going to do.

Through the awkward stages of middle school and the beginning of high school to now as we are in our second year of college, you've always had my back. No matter what has happened in these past 7 years, you have always been there for me and we have made so many memories to last a lifetime.

Our late night shenanigans and our multitude of sleepovers will always hold a special place in my mind. All of the dumb movies that we used to watch, I now make others suffer through their cringiness. Our trip to Madison this summer to see one of our childhood heartthrobs in concert was exhilarating and an experience I will never forget. I remember that there was at least one week where we basically lived at each other's houses.

What's the point of having a best friend if they don't console you after you run or cheer you on and make you laugh when the times get tough? We celebrated each others successes, on and off the court. On and off the course. On and off the track. You have been there through all the ups and the downs from middle school until now. Through breakups and lost friendships, you never wavered.

Even though we are hours apart now, I'm so glad I have you by my side. Even though those chapters of running and playing together has come to an end, I'm so glad that I still have you to count on.

Thank you for being the peanut butter to my jelly. Thank you for being the most amazing best friend that I could ever ask for.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
