BFF Goals As Explained By Rachel And Monica

Before there was Meredith Grey and Christina Yang, Miley Stewart and Lilly Truscott, and even Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake, there was Monica Geller and Rachel Green. They were the definition of true friendship. The key to Monica's and Rachel's true and everlasting friendship is that they made each other laugh till their stomachs hurt, were there for each other through everything, and then get some dirt on each other when they were drunk so they could never leave each other. They would even argue and fight but their friendship would never settle. Here are some laughs and reasons why Monica and Rachel are the BFF goals!

1. When you hang out it's completely normal to just stuff your faces and eat whatever you want without the judgment.

Binge on!! You deserve it. Forget those haters!

2. Your personal bubble doesn't apply to each other. You need your nose scratched? I gotchu!

When it comes to BFFs, there are zeroboundaries.

3. She’ll always hit you with the truth

Always honest without question. Sometimes even without a filter!

4. You literally fight like sisters

Sometimes the claws come out and a cat-fight ensues

5. But then can't stay mad at each other because you got gossip to tell and she's the only one that will understand.

Hug it out....then spill the beans!!

6. Even if times get awkward she's got your back

She'll get you out of those tight situations for sure!

7. When it comes to game night, everybody better watch out, because both of your competitive sides come out to play.

Yupp, even when you roll the dice to see who goes first, that gets ugly too.

8. The thought of being apart is simply terrifying and depressing.

Can't even go to the bathroom without you.

9. When your BFF gets a new friend you're all like, "back off Felicia...she's mine!"

You belong with me. No one else!

10. You even plan your futures together

You've always been promising each other that when you’re both old and your husbands have died, you’ll move in with each other so you can drink daily, complain about your new young BF’s and keep each other company.

11. You are each other's go to person

Always and forever

12. You always go out together

Friends who party together stay together!

13. She's even there for you when you can't deal with life

Even when it's not your day, your friend has your back (and a few pints of ice cream and chic flicks).

14. They are your other half

You complete me!

15. And when it comes down to it, y'all aren't just best friends, but more like sisters

Love ya like a sister!!

Monica and Rachel were the OG BFF goals and they have proved it to us time and time again!!

So cheers to BFF goals!!

Go on and hug your BFF and tell them how much you love them!

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
