Beyonce is one of the most strong and talented artists in the music industry right now; that goes without saying. We all know how amazing this successful woman is, but here are just a few reminders as to why we all love Beyonce so much:

1. She is the ultimate definition of confidence.


2. She advocates healthy relationships.


3. And encourages women to discover their inner strength and independence.


4. She's comfortable with her sexuality.


5. This diva doesn't bring her promiscuity on stage into her everyday life.


6. And keeps the perfect balance between looking scandalous and classy.


7. Bey knows what she wants.


8. And she works hard for it.


9. She pretty much dominates the music world.


10. The Queen also isn't afraid to take risks.


11. She's bold.


12. And people know not to mess with her.


13. Even the president loves her!


14. The mother of one never forgets her family.


15. She ages gracefully.


16. I mean, the woman is always fresh.


17. Her voice is just as amazing when she sings live.


18. She supports different causes.


19. Beyonce just wins at life.


20. I mean honestly, is there anything she can't do?

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated.
