ABC show Grey's Anatomy is nearing the end of its 14th season, and throughout the years, there have been some truly iconic characters. But, there has also been some truly awful characters that viewers did not love. While everyone has different opinions on the characters - here are the characters I think are the best and worst from the Grey's Anatomy. Do you agree with me? Share this with your friends and discuss!

If you're not caught up with the show, there may be some spoilers ahead - so read with caution.

Best: Miranda Bailey.

Miranda Bailey is best known for her iconic speeches in the most necessary circumstances. She is also Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital's first female chief of surgery. Dr. Bailey is the definition of girl power and we should all worship at her feet.

Worst: George O'Malley.

Some viewers adore George. I am not one of them. I thought his character was overall annoying, not that great at being a doctor, and liked to make his life seem more miserable than it really was.

Best: April Kepner.

April has been on the show since season 6 and has made quite the impact. All the girls were jealous of her when she married Dr. Avery, who is both a true hottie and surgical royalty, and all the girls were heartbroken for her when she lost her first baby. Through her obstacles and her Christian faith, she is a character that millions of viewers relate to.

Worst: Teddy Altman.

Teddy is a debatable character, but at the end of the day, I had to put her on the naughty list. While she's absolutely gorgeous, she did attempt to breakup Cristina and Owen's marriage and didn't appreciate the value of Mark Sloan trying to have an actual relationship with her. Therefore, I cannot respect her.

Best: Cristina Yang.

Would it even be a list of the best Grey's characters if Cristina was not on it? She basically picked her specialty as an intern and was by far the best resident in her year. She and Meredith were best friend goals and she went through her fair share of hard times. If you weren't heartbroken when she left the show - you are lying.

Worst: Izzy Stevens.

From cutting Denny's LVAD wires to sleeping with a married man to leaving Alex, Izzy was easily one of the worst characters on the show. According to sources close to the cast, the actress herself was not popular amongst the cast and crew.

Best: Lexie Grey.

LEXIE DESERVED BETTER. Being crushed to death by an airplane engine in the middle of the woods right as Mark decided to tell her that he still loves her? Seriously? She was a great resident, a great sister, and a great daughter and she deserved better. We deserved more Lexie.

Worst: Reed Adamson.

This character was annoying, thought she was smarter than she was, and was rude to the other residents for no reason. Granted, she did suffer an untimely and tragic death, but that doesn't excuse how awful her character was before then.

Best: Mark Sloan.

McSteamy was a hilarious, charming, witty character that brought a comical element to the show in every scene he had. He came into the show on an iffy note (as Derek's best friend who slept with his wife), but quickly became a fan favorite due to his sparkling personality. If there is a real-life version of Mark Sloan, I would like to find him.

Worst: Preston Burke.

There are not enough words in the world for me to explain all the reasons why I don't like Dr. Burke. He left Cristina at the alter, he was pretentious, and he was just not a very sociable character. It was hard to root for him when he only had one friend, who was also his intern, who was also his girlfriend.

Best: Derek Shepherd.

My world stopped turning the day that McDreamy died. His sudden death was heartbreaking and his narration of the entire situation only rubbed salt in the wound. He was an amazing surgeon, and an even more amazing husband/father. This "Neuro God" was by far the best and most attractive character to ever step foot on this show, and I will never forgive Shonda Rhimes for thinking it was ever necessary to kill him.

The Perks of Being a Girl

“I just want you to know that you’re very special… and the only reason I’m telling you is that I don’t know if anyone else ever has.”

As frustrating and annoying as it can be, being a girl is really awesome. We are beautiful inside and out. Not a lot of people may see that, but girls have a ton of amazing qualities.

We have unique flirting skills.

Us girls have a significant way to flirt with other people. Even when we say the most random or awkward things, we have a way of making everything sound cute and planned. It’s just a gift; we’re good like that.

Us college students know all about the struggle of spending the day in the library. Whether you are writing a ten-page paper, studying for a biology exam, or struggling through math homework, you somehow find the strength to get to the library to get it all done. Let's just say you have a lot of different thoughts that run through your head during the many hours you spend in the lovely library.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:

If you are like me, you have an interesting personality. Basically, you love to be sassy and snarky, gossip, and act like a total bitch (not really), but deep down, you are actually a very genuinely nice person. The idea of actually hurting someone truly makes you feel bad, and you probably have never actually hurt someone’s feelings because your kindness always shines through, even if you do not want it to. Not sure exactly what I would call this type of personality, but if you identify with it, here are some feelings you can undoubtedly relate to.

We all have a little bit of Blair Waldorf inside of us. You may not realize it, but you're probably guilty of at least nine out of ten of these listed points. So why don't we reminisce on the famous Blair Waldorf moments where we realized we were actually her at certain times through the series?
