While Valentine's day can come with all this pressure about having a significant other and being in a relationship, everyone should be able to enjoy a holiday dedicated to chocolate and love. Just because you may be single, doesn't mean that you can't enjoy this holiday. Sure, you could sit at home and be bitter about your relationship status, but these alternatives are much more fun.
1. Plan a Galentine's Day instead
Who says you can’t share non-romantic love this V-day. Tell the girls who love and support you just how much they mean to you, by getting them a valentine.
2. Watch Nicholas Sparks with your best friends (and maybe some wine)
If you insist on sulking about being single, at least don't do it alone. Gather up your other bitter friends and get wine drunk while complaining how guys in the movies just don't exist.
3. Bake
There are few things better than baked goods, so make some heart shaped cookies and pink cupcakes and enjoy.
4. Go out
Spend your Valentine's day dancing with your best friends and flirting with cute guys. If you are feeling sad about being single on Valentine's day this is probably the perfect cure. Let loose, have fun, and forget about boys, and honestly there is no better way to do so than dancing like crazy with your best friends.
