Money is something most college students have very little of, which is why many jump at any chance to save up anything they can. Here are some great ways to make some easy money on the side so that you can still focus on school and having a social life.

Go online

1. Work in data entry: Many companies are looking for people to copy and paste between documents, change programs and move between systems. It’s notorious work, but if you are able to handle it then this job can provide some great money with a flexible schedule.

2. Become a social media manager for a company: This can be fun job and a good way to make money, especially on a flexible schedule and with companies you love. A wide range of social media can be used as well from Twitter to Pinterest, so this job would be great to do during free time.

3. Online tutor: Many students are looking for help with many subjects, so if you excel at a subject or really love it, you could make some cash by teaching others who need the help. The hours would be flexible as well.

4. Blog: You can start up your own blog and make money as it attracts readers. Some people are even able to live off blogging as an adult, so this is a great way to make money as a college student.

5.Become a freelance writer: It’s a very flexible job with you being able to set your own rates and having the chance to write about anything you want, which means the job can be a lot of fun if you like writing.

Partake in on-campus job opportunities

The student employment or online directory on campus should be able to provide opportunities for you to make easy cash with simple jobs.

1. Library assistant: You can get this job doing simple things such as putting books back on shelves and helping students find what they're looking for.

2. Campus tour guide: If you like entertaining people while showing them around and being the face of the school, then this job is perfect because it involves being good with people and knowing the campus like the back of your hand while being able to crack jokes.

3. Residential advisor (RA): This job will give you a lot of responsibility because it involves being the leader and administrator in your dorm room section, but it pays well, and sometimes you're able to get a good selection of door rooms at no cost.

4. Newspaper writer/editor: Some colleges don't pay writers and editors, but some do, so finding out what your college does would be a good idea

5. IT person: Especially if you plan on going into technology, this job can help you hone your technology skills

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
