Who else still quotes old vines? You are not alone! Last month made it two years since Vine has been shut down.
How many of these do you still quote?
Vine has been "dead" for 2 years, but the references are still very alive to me.

We've all been there - you've been saying since Tuesday after French that this weekend is the weekend. You're finally going to break out those new heels and actually put on eyeliner on and make this Friday night be one for the memory books! That is, of course, until Girls Night Out turned into...Girls Night In.
You've been talking up this night pretty much all week. There's a list of songs to play next to your calc notes and you've already picked out the perfect outfit in your mind, then changed it 10 times before returning back to the original outfit.
No matter if you worked ten hours or ten minutes, you've made it! You are home, the bra is coming off, and the fun is about to start!
Although you're day's finished, that doesn't necessarily equate that your girls are also free and able to get this party started. So you clean your apartment, pluck your eyebrows, make some tea, watch some Netflix, pretty much anything to pass the time before your people arrive.
FINALLY everyone is in the same room and it's time to get this party started...and no party can get truly started without getting some food down first.
You'll start getting your makeup on once this episode of the Bachelor is over, or once you finish this bag of chips, or really at the end of whatever task is currently at hand, which is clearly more interesting than getting your thighs in that pair of skinny jeans.
You don't know when 4:30 turned into 10:30 but somewhere in between tacos and hearing about that guy in your roommates accounting class asking that freshman out via Twitter, time truly got away from you and you're starting to ponder if you even really want to go out.
Because one glass of vino never hurt anyone...
You can't really identity how this conversation started but all you know is that you can't really stop talking about what it all really means, like really really means.
Better known as, 'are you thinking about how good yoga pants would feel right now also' look.
Going out...not going out...going out...not going out
Because sitting at home with the girls watching a movie starring Ryan Gosling's abs and talking about life is much better than attempting to put on heels and eyeliner anyways!
Whether you believe astrology is a legitimate "science" or not, we have all found ourselves looking at our horoscopes from time to time. The 12 astrological signs all fall under one of four elements: air, water, earth, or fire. Air signs are rational, social, and love to communicate with others. Water signs are are emotional, intuitive, and mysterious. Fire signs tend to be passionate, creative, and adventurous. Earth signs are conservative, realistic, and loyal.
Each sign is determined by the relative positions of celestial bodies to ourselves at our moment of birth, which is said to influence our personalities. Find your zodiac GIF below, based on the traits and characteristics provided by each sign.

College is supposed to be one of the best times of your life. However, it is also one of the toughest transitions to make. There is so much anticipation and excitement leading up to moving into college. It doesn’t truly hit you until move in day when your parents say their final goodbyes and you see their car drive away. You truly are on your own. I was blessed to meet my best friends within the first week of school. Your college friends are so important and here’s why:
Whether you’re craving a slice of pizza at three in the morning or want to order food to your dorm because it’s too cold to walk to the dining hall, your college friends are down for anything. They share the same love for food as you do and if you’re as lucky as me, you might even have a roommate who gets the same thing from your favorite restaurant as you and is willing to split it. There is nothing like bonding with your best friends while enjoying some good food.
My alarm to go to the gym goes off at 10 a.m. and I normally roll over and snooze it. However, my college friends will text me telling me to get out of bed because we’re going to the gym whether I want to or not. I love having friends to workout with and motivate me with their workout routines. It’s also an added bonus that I have friends to get lunch with afterwards.
I know if I call one of my friends crying in the middle of the night, they’ll be at my room in 30 seconds without me even saying anything. If I’m ever not sure what decision to make, they talk me through it and lead me to make the right choice. Whether it’s a senseless conversation about how many dogs you want when you have your own place or a serious life discussion, your college friends are always going to be willing to talk.
They understand how important your grades are to you and they share the same interest of doing well in school. They're always down for a trip to the library (and are willing to stop for coffee beforehand for those late night study sessions). They always motivate you to study hard so you can go out on the weekend.
Do you ever look at your closet and think that you have absolutely nothing to wear? (Even though there is a full closet of cute clothes right in front of your eyes). One of the many perks of your college friends is having a new closet to browse through. You now have cute outfits to borrow and your friends can also borrow your clothes that you’re tired of wearing.
Whether something really good happens or something really horrible happens, your college friends are the first people you want to talk to. When something good happens, they’re the people who want to congratulate you. When something bad happens, they know all the right things to say to cheer you up (in most cases it involves a trip to the dining hall to get some cookie dough ice cream).
You spend every waking minute with these people; you’re bound to become close like family. I’m thankful for my college friends for caring for me and supporting me like my own family does. The memories I share with these people are unforgettable. My college experience would not be the same without these friends in my life.
I could not be more grateful for the friends I’ve made at school. They make the bad days easier, and the good days even better. I am so lucky to have met such great people to share my college experience with. My life wouldn’t be the same without them.
There are a few thoughts that go through a college student's mind on a day to day basis. Some of those thoughts come from class, some of then come from when you are bored in class. Here are sixteen thoughts that college students think of on a day to day basis.
"Make sure to look both ways before crossing" was meant for little kids and teenagers in high school. It is fair game in college because we are all broke and need to find ways to pay of loans.
Do not lie, we all watch those Tasty videos on Facebook and try to make the dishes we see. Once you are done making that meal, you suddenly feel like a chef and it is a pretty good feeling. Or am I just the only one?
After forcing yourself to go to class, you deserve a nice reward.
When in doubt, skip. Everyone deserves a personal day.
The event might be good and it might be bad, either way, you get free food out of going. I highly recommend going to events on campus, you never know what you might like.
We have all had that one paper that you just can't force yourself to start but how long will it take for you to start it? The night before? Two hours before class? Will it ever get done? The world may never know...
Do you ever just wish that you can cuddle your pet forever because you miss it so much? Nothing is better than going home and cuddling your pet for hours because you both missed each other so much.
I always promise myself that I will save my money when I get paid but then I see sale signs and food and then I become broke.
If you hear that there is any animal on campus, you will try to find it and pet it. Petting someone else's animal can relieve stress.
If you do not have an Insonmia Cookie shop near you, I feel bad. I can devour so many of their cookies while doing my homework.
The weather can be horrible outside and Professors may not cancel but in my opinion, I think that gives you jurisdiction to cancel yourself. I am not going to risk my health to sit in class when the powerpoint is online.
I live for discounts and sales. I am a college student, I can't afford to spend money on regular priced items when there are sale items.
The only time you should check your bank account is when you get paid. Other than that, you are setting yourself up to be sad.
One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone does not try to help their self before asking others. How can someone else be expected to help you if you do not first do that yourself? I'm all about helping those that need it when the time comes, however whenever someone does not even attempt to help him or herself first then that becomes a huge problem. As we all have learned, people tend to take advantage of us in one way or another. I am sure we all read this short story when we were younger and it follows that same principle:
"If you give a mouse a cookie, he's going to ask for a glass of milk.
When you give him the milk, he'll probably ask you for a straw.
When he's finished, he'll ask you for a napkin.
Then he'll want to look in a mirror to make sure he doesn't have a milk mustache.
When he looks in the mirror, he might notice his hair needs a trim.
So he'll probably ask for a pair of nail scissors.
When he's finished giving himself a trim, he'll want a broom to sweep it up.
He'll start sweeping.
He might get carried away and sweep every room in the house.
He may even end up washing the floors as well!
When he's done, he'll probably want to take a nap.
You'll have to fix up a little box for him with a blanket and a pillow.
He'll crawl in, make himself comfortable and fluff the pillow a few times.
He'll probably ask you to read him a story.
So you'll read to him from one of your books, and he'll ask to see the pictures.
When he looks at the pictures, he'll get so excited he'll want to sign his name with a pen.
Then he'll want to hang his picture on your refrigerator.
Which means he'll need Scotch tape.
He'll hang up his drawing and stand back to look at it.
Looking at the refrigerator will remind him that he's thirsty.
So... he'll ask for a glass of milk.
And chances are if he asks you for a glass of milk, he's going to want a cookie to go with it."
When we were very young, there was a time when this book entertained and made us laugh; we did not think anything else of it. However, this short story offers a life-long lesson: Do not set yourself on fire to keep others warm.
Looking back on things, there have been so many times where people just wanted to take advantage of me. For instance, as I was going through high school I was fairly smart/nerdy and athletic (which is not a common mixture). If someone needed help with school work they would often come to me. I would help them and most of the time they would not even try to help themselves. I was giving them a cookie and they were just coming back for milk.
This happens to be the case at college during finals week as well. Those people that never come to the library start going and ask anyone and everyone for help. Of course, some people just need help here and there, but when you wait the entire semester to start asking for help its your own fault.
Like I said, I'm all for helping someone, but when it comes to not even helping yourself that's a problem.
To sum things up, if you give somebody an inch, they're going to take a mile; it's human nature.
