College is all fun and games until we realize we need to get back to our homes one day or the other every year for a reality check. Summer is the best time for that because it's not only a long break, but it's summer!

Here's a list of a few things you should have definitely done during the break.

1. Realizing family is important

Before the beginning of the long break, we anticipate the end of the break to come as soon as possible, because who would want to live without friends for so long? However, the moment you see your family after the completion of one or two semesters, you realize that they are the ones who're here to stay for you, beside you, no matter what.

2. CATCHING UP!

No matter how long you've been busy keeping up with college, you cannot miss the one or two chance(s) in a year to catch up with your old friends and cousins. Revive old talks, create new memories and make sure to keep in touch during the whole academic year. Spend as much time as possible with them!

3. Trips trips trips

Despite everything around, we all need to go out somewhere for a few days with our family or friends. According to many doctors, new places and new people help the mind and soul feel better. A getaway is NEEDED!

4. Lots of self-care

Visit the salon more often, go shopping, work out, sleep a lot more and definitely eat whatever the heart wants! Remember: summer is not coming again this year!

5. Try out new stuff

Yes, this is the best way to spend the long vacation. Make it count! Try something you haven't before. That might be a new place, new activity, new job, or new interest. You never know, you may find a hidden passion/talent in you

6. Brace yourselves for the next academic year!

And here we are... almost at the end of our three month long summer break! Get ready to miss your family and pet, and look forward to a new beginning. Prepare yourselves for the busy days ahead and hope to be better in the coming days!
