Remember the good old days when you would wake up early on a Saturday morning to watch television as a kid? Have no fear, I have made a list of all of those favorite television shows from the '90s to the early 2000s! Everything from "Pokemon" to "Rugrats," it's here! But we all know that Pokemon is the best, of course. What are you waiting for? Scroll down and see all of those favorite shows you are just dying to remember the name of!

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air

When a couple of guys who were up to no good
Started making trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
She said 'You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air

Long story short, one of the best shows of all time. It's about a guy who is sent to Bel Air because he was causing trouble back at home. This quirky show is a big favorite just because of Will Smith dancing every other episode.

"Friends"

Smelly cat, smelly cat, what are they feeding you?

Before "How I Met Your Mother," this is what people watched on television all the time. Ask your parents, chances are they understand how popular it became when it came on TV. You are bound to have a lot of laughs from this show, if not, just forward straight to the episode where Ross dresses as the "holiday armadillo". This show makes you wish there really was a Central Perk cafe to get coffee at.

"Seinfeld"

Jerry Seinfeld's show was a hit before the early '
90s, with the way he opened up with stand-up comedy. The characters Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer go through their everyday life figuring out relationships, the Soup Nazi, and the ugly baby.

That 70’s Show

That 70's Show started in 1998, becoming a success! I think it is an interesting view into what it was like to live in the 70's. My parents say that they agree that this show has it right. Who's the best character on the show? Fez. It has to be Fez!

"Everybody Loves Raymond"

This 1996 show features Raymond, a father and husband as he manages with his mother being around all of the time. If you haven't seen it, it's a hilarious take on real life situations that married couples run into.

"Rugrats"

Believe it or not, this show came out in 1990! That means that by the time most of us 20-year-olds were able to watch it, it was already out for eleven years or so. Nonetheless, who can deny the cuteness of Chuckie? And all of that talk about Reptar, who is basically Godzilla? Pure gold!

"Pokemon"

Squirtle, Squirtle!

This show probably should make it to the top of the list. They are probably one of the most successful shows here. They still are coming out with video games and movies for this show. It is a show that everyone can love, no matter what age!

"The Amanda Show"

Amanda, please!

This one was a really great over exaggeration of what it was like to be in middle school and high school. It was basically the "SNL" for teenagers at the time, featuring Amanda Bynes.

"All That"

This one was very similar to the Amanda Show. I even got them mixed up when I was younger. Both shows have similar set ups. All That had some pretty amazing skits. If you ever want a good laugh, just look up some old episodes!

"Full House"

"Full House" started in 1987, which is earlier than the '90s but it is still worthy of being in this list! This one is still aired today, so I would be surprised if you didn't know this show. I just love the cheesy music that plays when heart-felt moments happen on the show. Definitely, a very good show with good morals and lessons.

"Hey Arnold!"

"Hey Arnold!" was a little more quirky than most shows. Looking back, I didn't understand a lot of the jokes that were on the show, but now I see it. You'll just have to see for yourself on this one. It's definitely worth the shot!

"Digimon"

Digimon, DIGITAL MONSTERS!

Basically, Pokemon, but with digital monsters instead of real human-like ones. I love the characters on this one. The monsters are so cute and have adorable voices! It was a great segway for many into watching other anime and manga shows.

"Rocko’s Modern Life"

This show is another quirky show. "Rocko's Modern Life" aired around the same time that Courage the Cowardly Dog did. I think it may have even been the same cartoonists as "CatDog." The drawings look extremely similar. I love this one for sure!

Hope this brought back some memories! If you don't know some of these shows, go check them out. You never know when your group of friends will bring up those old shows you used to watch as a kid, so it's good to know these!

Until next time,

Meaghan

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
