Well, we're almost there, folks. We're almost at the end of the semester. Today, as I'm writing this article, it's a super sunny and nice day. I just got back from taking some artsy pictures at a park by my school and got ice cream with my best friend.

Days like today make me super excited for summer. Days like today make me think of all the good things that summer is going to have in store for me.

1. Beach days.

Sunny days on the beach with friends or my cousins are what I live for.

2. Nights on the boardwalk.

Nights walking the boardwalk and going to the rides are the best, especially after a beach day.

3. Windows down, country music BLASTING!

No explanation needed.

4. Sleeping in after late nights.

Since I don't get to sleep in during the school year, sleeping in after being out all night is GREAT.

5. Swimming.

I'm one of those girls who love to actually swim. I don't care if my hair gets wet. I just want to be a freaking mermaid.

6. Night swimming.

Honestly, swimming at any time in the day is great, but there's something better about night swimming.

7. Bonfires.

Filled with friends, s'mores, and good times.

8. ICE CREAM!

Again, no explanation needed. It's my favorite treat year-round.

9. Chill nights with friends.

Even though there are so many of those crazy nights, it's just as nice to have chill nights, just listening to music, catching up with friends, and talking about life.

10. Tan skin and light hair.

I swear I look and feel my best when I'm tan and have my blonde hair.

Sunny days like today make me so happy and excited for summer. Honestly, summer is my THRIVING season, and I can't wait for all the warm and sunny days ahead! Only a couple more weeks and we'll be there!

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
