Over my life I have met new people from all different walks of life, I figured out that sometimes you are able to keep friendships when you don’t live in the same place, simply if both people want to. I realized that if you put enough effort into anything it can work especially between friends. Most, if not all of my closest friends live in different cities than me, and I honestly think that is one of the reasons we have remained so close. Long distance friendships are so much better than long distance relationships because although you miss the other one, you don't spend time dwelling on the unimportant stuff, and always make time for each other.
- When you see each other, its so much more fun because within the weekend, week or the trip you go on you have to make up for time lost.
- They will listen to your stories because they’re truly interested about what has been happening in your life when you aren’t around them.
- Long distance friends are the type of friendships you hold on to, because even if you end up moving back to the same city, you know your friendship can withstand anything.
- If you fight, you get over it once you see each other, because why would you want to waste any time?
- You can always give your unbiased opinions on their new friends, boyfriends and anyone in their lives because you don’t know them personally so you wont hurt any feelings.
- Planning trips home, planning trips to visit them in their home are always exciting and something to get amped about.
- The second you see each other its like not time has passed.
- Your other friends get jealous when you refer to your long distance best friend as your best friend, but they just know what type of relationship you have
- No matter what people come in and out of your life, you know you’ll always have these friends, even if you don’t see each other a lot.
- They’re usually from your hometown, and even if it takes a long time to appreciate how important and how much of an impact these people have had on you, they’re the ones there when life gets real.
