I consider myself lucky to be a part of the group of people that have a sister. I couldn't imagine my life without mine, and I am truly blessed by the life I have had because of her. Having a sister is unique in all of the best ways, and I wouldn't want it any other way. There are a million things I love about my sister, but here are just a few of the greatest things about being a girl with a sister.
She has the best clothes
Somehow over the years my sister's closet has always seemed to be better than my own. If I didn't have anything to wear, she always had something cute and different than my own clothes. She may have not always liked me picking through her closet, but I loved it!
She gives the best advice
Yes, its always nice to go to friends for guy help but when you're having any problems with your friends you can't exactly go to them for help. Plus, your sister is right there in your house so it's the quickest advice you'll ever get!
The common enemy
If your having troubles with your parents, your sister will always have your back. Because you share your parents with your sibling, she knows how they can be and will be good to help your get through it.
Built in best friend
This one speaks for itself! You were granted the best friend you will ever have and she's always right there.
She knows how to do things that you don't
My sister was always the best at doing makeup, and never hesitated to help me look good for a school dance or whatever I was wanting to look good for.
She will be honest with you
Your sister has no reason to not tell you the truth about an outfit, guy, or maybe how you're acting. You will never have to worry about her trying to spare your feelings by telling you your shoes look cute if she actually thinks they're hideous.
She has similar interests
Because you share the same DNA, there's a good chance your sister will love at least a few of the same things you do. If there was ever a scary movie that I was dying to see and I knew my friends didn't like scary movies, my sister would always be up to watch it.
This one's for the women I have always looked up to, and never felt anything but lucky to have in my life. I love you Karley!
