It may still be a little hot outside, but the summer season has once again come to an end, which means that fall has arrived. The fall season is arguably one of the best times of the year in my opinion. It's an exciting time of the year with so much going on and so many exciting things to do.
1. Football
Whether you follow it or not, you cannot deny that the start of fall means football all the time. The viewing parties, tailgates and football games with friends and family bring us all together and make for some great fall memories.
2. Fall Clothes
Sweater weather has begun. It may not be freezing, but it is still rather warm out so you must dress appropriately. If you are anything like me, you anxiously await for the return of the fall season because you get to wear hoodies and flannels once again. The comfort of fall clothes is unlike any other.
3. Homecoming
Homecoming is always a great time. Whether you are a current student or an alum, it is always great to see your school come together and celebrate together. Homecoming is usually one huge celebration and ends up being one of the more memorable moments of the year.
4. Pumpkin Everything
Pumpkin spice coffee, pumpkin pie or anything else. You name it, it is probably pumpkin flavored. I myself am guilty of being an avid fan of pumpkin flavored things.
5. Halloween
Halloween is fun for all ages. Whether you are a kid going trick or treating or an adult getting dressed up for halloween parties, this holiday never disappoints. It's almost time to start planning this year's costumes (if you haven't already started that is).
6. Television Premieres
The fall season is also notoriously known for the return of primetime television. New and returning shows get back into the routine of airing new episodes after taking the summer off. Needless to say, this is also usually about the time of the year that we begin to see an increase in binge watching.
These are just a few of the many things that make the fall season so great. Enjoy this season while it lasts because winter will be here before we know it. Soon enough we will be wishing we could train the bitter cold in for the crisp fall air.
