For When You Need A Laugh
S4: E9: "Dinner Party"
"The Office"
This episode is full of mishaps, cringeworthy moments, overall chaos, and is the best to watch when you just need to laugh. I wouldn't recommend it if this is your first time watching the series however, since the character stories and plot are quiet out there and can be difficult to follow without context.
As you follow the journey of Michael Scott finally succeeding in getting Jim and Pam to his house, we get the opportunity to witness the inevitable demise of Jan and Michael's relationship. While we all knew that this relationship was never healthy from the beginning, no one could have predicted the chaos that was soon to unravel.
With Jan's office and workspace for "Serenity by Jan,", from Michael's bench being a bed, to recruiting Jim and Andy to invest in Jan's company, all the way to Jan smashing Michael's $200 Plasma Screen TV with one of his Dundies, this episode is sure to take you through a rollercoaster of emotions. The most important of them being, laughter, allowing you to find humor in their chaos and take a moment and realize, at least this isn't your life.

"The Office"
S7: E22: "Goodbye Michael"
Now for anyone who has seen more than 10 episodes of the office, this one is a heart-wrencher. The one character you have simultaneously hated, loved, related to, and are constantly annoyed by is leaving the show, the one and the only, Michael Gary Scott. The true heartbreak comes from the conflicting emotions faced when watching this, viewers feel so happy for Michael since he has finally found his one true love, but are sad because "The Office," is nothing without their crazy boss.
The beauty in this episode comes from Michael's goodbyes to both Pam and Jim, who figure out that he is actually leaving a day earlier than he said, and find time to have a truly heartwarming moment with him. With all the negative emotions and snarky comments aside, the true love that the employees of Dunder-Mifflin have and express for Michael can make anyone into a puddle of tears. So grab some tissues and a blanket, and get prepared for one of the most heartwarming and sad episodes of this show.
For When You Need To Smile Or Just Need To Feel Some Love
"The Office"
S6: E5: "Niagara Pt. 2"
Here we go, the episode that any fan of "The Office" has been impatiently waiting for, Jim and Pam's wedding. We have all been through the turmoil of their relationship just waiting to happen, and some of us may be guilty for yelling at our TV's "Just date already!" From Pam and Roy's engagement, to Pam's confession to Jim on the beach, and Jim's Gas Station Proposal, the wedding of the century is finally here.
This episode will keep any viewer beaming so hard that their cheeks are throbbing. From Jim and Pam's mental pictures, to Pam's veil being torn and Jim cutting his tie, all the way to Michael's surprise performance down the aisle and to the Niagara Falls ferry ride, this episode is picture perfect. The love that Jim and Pam share is more than enough to get any hopeless romantic excited about meeting their future Jim/Pam.
For When You Are Feeling A Little Mischievous
"The Office"
S3: E20 "Product Recall" The Cold Open
For any lover of "The Office," Jim's pranks on Dwight never fail to put a smile on someone's face, make them laugh, or even nostalgic of the times they pulled pranks on friends and family.
A particular favorite of mine is the cold open from this episode, Jim's spot-on impersonation of Dwight through both statements and clothing is sure to make you shake from laughter. One of the most popular phrases from this show is even coined in this episode, "Bears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica." Seeing Pam's reaction as Jim walks in and even the progression of Dwight's thoughts as he realizes what is happening makes one both impressed by Jim's pranking abilities and thinking about who we could do this to ourselves.
