Alright all of my fellow music junkies, do you know what time it is because I sure do! The time of year for music festivals has come and I can’t contain my excitement. Which ones are you planning on attending this summer? Check out this awesome list below for the hottest festivals you definitely want to keep your eye on.

1. Coachella

Located in Indio California, this one shouldn’t come as a surprise as Coachella is probably the most widely anticipated festival of them all. But I mean, can’t really argue with that considering this lineup is always something serious every; you’re definitely going to catch major vibes listening to a range of artists and musical genres attending here.

The weekend kicked off with a bang from some hot performances from Beyoncé and The Weekend following performances from Cardi B and Eminem that set the tone for a great time as well.

2. Rolling Loud

In contrast to being in the desert in Cali, let’s head south, all the way down to Miami, for a rap and hip-hop fest sure to have everyone turned all the way up. Rolling Loud doesn’t kick off until the second weekend in May but with some of the hottest names in the rap/hip-hop game, it’s too hot to miss! Popular rappers such as J Cole, Russ, Travis Scott, Future, and Post Malone are set to perform among many, many others.

3. The Hangout

Moving from Miami to Gulf Shores, The Hangout will be taking place the weekend following Rolling Loud. Sounds from various artists such as The Killers, Logic, Halsey, SZA, and Kendrick Lamar will be heard at this beach-fest.

I’ll personally be at this festival, and I must say that I am beyond ecstatic to be soaking up some sun while tuning into my favorites.

4. Panorama Music Festival

Towards the end of July, this festival will be making its debut in Randall’s Island Park, located in NYC. Take a break from the beach and prepare to jam out in this metropolitan park with chart-toppers such as Jhene Aiko, Migos, Daniel Caesar, Sabrina Claudio, and Dua Lipa will be taking the stage for this three-day event. You can catch me in the crowd giving out to this music fest as well.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
