Summer time is finally here, or at least approaching depending on where you live. This means beaches, lake days, picnics, barbecues. As we all know, with these events comes some pretty killer heat. Nothing says summer time like a delicious ice cold beverage that is not only refreshing, but delicious. If you wanna be prepared to serve drinks that are sure to lead to some fun in the sun, check out the 7 beverages in this article that I know your friends and family will not be able to get enough from.

1) Seltzer

Sometimes, you just have to keep things simple. Water is great and all, but seltzer really helps bring people to the cooler on a hot day. The carbonation really helps to keep you from drinking too fast so you not only get to enjoy a delicious drink, but you can enjoy it for longer! This drink comes in a plethora of flavors so you can bet your bottom dollar there is a kind that you and your party will love.

2) Club soda

Who doesn't love a little bit of tingly water? A case or a bottle of club soda can liven up any get together. With flavors like strawberry lemonade and lime, what is there not to love?

3) Sparkling water

Some gas infused liquid is sure to hit the spot at your next party. Sip like the elite with this ~fancy~ drink. (My personal favorite flavor is cucumber melon, let me know what you think!)

4) Seltzer water

A little bit of H2C03 (Which is H2O+CO2 for those of you not well versed in chemestry) is just what the summer doctor ordered to put a damper on the brutal heat of the summer. This one only comes in one flavor... PSYCH there are soooo many flavors for this incredibly unique drink.

5) Effervescent water

Okay I'm gonna have to keep it real with you guys for a second, this one is basically just a fancy name for the next drink. See #6

6) Bubbly/Fizzy water

A little bit of bubbles in your water? What could be better when the temps get hotter! With this spicy take on your every day beverage you'll be sure to gain a great deal of leverage (the next time there is is "who brought the best drinks to the party" competition). Pick from hundreds of flavors that will tingle your taste buds.

7) Carbonated water

Carbon here does NOT mean that you are contributing to climate change by drinking this. It DOES mean that you will be everybody's favorite guest to have at any summertime ordeal. Pro-Tip: if you poll some of the guests before the party, you can ask them what their favorite flavors are and get those because there is sure to be a carbonated water in any flavor you could think of!

There you have it, the 7 best drinks for your next summer time shin dig. The hardest part is picking which one to bring! Really you should just buy all 7 and bring them to the party but leave them in your car, then feel the vibes of the place and then bring out the corresponding beverage. You'll have all the attendees asking "How did you know?! This is the perfect drink for this specific summer time gathering!"

Happy drinking!

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.

15 Things That Happen On Your Birthday

Do you have a small get-together or throw a big bash?

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.
