Best STL Highschools

In This Article:

Saint Louis has some of the best and brightest high school students. There are private all girl catholic high schools, private all boys catholic high schools, and public schools. Here are my top three best high schools for each category.

1. Private All Girl Catholic High Schools

1. Incarnate Word Academy - There are no words to describe how well this school prepares you for the future! They have an amazing athletic program and the theater department always shines at every play and/ or musical. The girls there are intelligent, kind, and will always make you laugh. Great buildings and amazing teachers. I would give this school a 12323444444.5/10. Would highly recommend it! You become a kind, intelligent, and socially aware individual here!

2. Nerinx Hall - Honestly probably would have gone here if I did not go to my high school I graduated from. This school has amazing people in it and knows how to have a good time! They shine academically and have really become a popular high school for many. 10/10 would recommend going here to be a well-rounded individual!

3. Rosati Kain - Many people tend to forget about this amazing school. There are some amazing girls who go here who will change the world for the better someday! Located right next to the Catherdral I mean how much more Catholic can it get! Their graduation is also held there which is really cool! Go check out this school if you have not. You will not be disappointed. Another 10/10 for me!

Honorable Mention: None! There are many other wonderful all-girl high schools in Saint Louis but these are the three you will get the most out of for paying tuition!

2. Private All Boys Catholic High Schools

1. Saint Louis University High School - I mean the smart boys who can also play sports well lol! This school is great for guys to go to! You will pay a large amount of money but it would be well spent. These guys go to a very well known school and for a good reason. Your son will grow up to be a kind young man going to this school and know how to use his intelligence to go better for the world ( I hope :| ).

2. Chaminade College Preparatory School - SPORTS, SPORTS, SPORTS, and Jayson Tatum! I mean did you really think of anything else first? This school is like a factory making amazing athletic abilities. This is a expensive and huge school. This is a great investment if you go here. Hopefully your son takes advantage of all the resources Chaminade has to offer!

3. Christian Brothers College High School and De Smet Jesuit High School - They are a tie for me. Again two very popular all boys catholic high school but you could go to either and be fine. Nothing is to bad about either to take off the list. They both have a good football and hockey team so check those games out if you get a chance!

Honorable Mention: St.Mary's High School - This school should have as much hype as the others. So underrated and you should definitely check it out!!

3. Public High Schools

1. Ladue Horton Watkins High School - This school is great! The athletic games are so fun to go to and they always have the best student section cheering. This is a great school where you would be challenged academically but still be able to have fun and have the best "high school experience".

2. Clayton High School - Kind of tucked away but a big school when you drive into the parking lot. This school will also challenge you but still give you an amazing "high school experience".

3. Metro Academic and Classical High School - This is literally rated the best high school in Missouri. That is an actual fact. If you want to learn, then learn some more, this is the place for you! You have to academically challenge yourself in every aspect! Be prepared to study all the time!

Honorable Mention: University City High School and Pattonville High School.

Again there are amazing high schools in the Saint Louis Area I just believe these are the best high schools. There is no competing with these select few. If you are looking for high schools to go to in the Saint Louis Area I just gave you the perfect spots! If you went to any of these high schools, congratulations on being my favorites! While in Saint Louis, ask people, "What high school did you go to?".

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
