Yes, I know-- Godfather's Pizza is a national franchise, but no one makes their Taco Pizza like the one in Columbus. People from all over, who grew up here or are just driving through town stop there. I should know better than anyone how many people come back just to eat Godfather's Pizza since I worked there for five years. I've heard a lot of stories in my time working there and some people even stopped there before going to see their family, I guess pizza is more important than seeing their family.
Now I am not being biased because I worked there for five years. I have had many other Godfather's Pizza's Taco Pizza and nothing compares to Columbus's. They start from same day fresh never frozen pizza crust. They then put taco sauce instead of pizza sauce that is so good and gives it that kick. It is then topped with hamburger, onion, and shredded mozzarella and pop it into the oven. After it comes out they top it with chedder cheese, lettuce and tomato. You can either eat it just like that or you can top it off with taco sauce and/or sour cream.
If you are ever in Columbus, Nebraska don't hesitate to stop at Godfather's Pizza and try their Taco Pizza.
