The city of bridges, and black and gold. If you live anywhere near Western Pennsylvania you call the city of Pittsburgh home, and why wouldn't you? It's the the greatest city in the world, or maybe I'm just biased. But seriously, have you ever seen a city as beautiful as this?

Or this?

Probably not. And If you think that is all we have to offer, just wait.

Pittsburgh has some of the most beautiful sights you'll ever see, and we are proud of it. This gorgeous city is famous for its iconic views, sights, and its triple threat sports teams. Its colleges and universities bring even more beauty to the city if that is even possible. It sits on the edge of the meeting point of three rivers and with all of this beauty, what isn't possible is to not fall in love with a city like this.

The accents of these yinzers are known from dahn tahn all the way around the world n'at. Its food can't be beat. From perogies, to Wholey's, and of course a Primanti Brothers' Philly cheese steak with coleslaw and fries (well anything with fries) are all crowd pleasers here.

If for some odd reason you have never experienced the city, you are about to now. Here is your virtual tour, welcome to Pittsburgh!

The first time you drive through the long tunnels that open up to a gorgeous city skyline is one you'll never forget.

Once you are here, there is so much to see. Let's head over to start at the North Shore. Yes, this is real.

While you are on this side of city, I know you want to check in on a few sports teams. We love our ketchup and we love our Steelers. Here we are at Heinz Field, home of six time Super Bowl champions, The Pittsburgh Steelers.

And let's not forget about PNC Park, home of the Pirates and arguably the most iconic beautiful sight of the city.

But we won't stop there. Let's take the Duquesne incline up to Mt. Washington. Restaurants and bars line the edge of this breathtakingly picturesque outlook that overlooks the entire city.

I mean seriously.

Our final stop downtown is a decorated Pittsburgh at Christmas time. From November to December, the city is even more beautiful, if that is even possible. The Plaza is transformed into the ice rink at PPG Place as it is decorated with the well anticipated tree that is set up for the holiday.

This is only the start to the city of black and yellow, so come back and visit again! We will be here to show you around. A Pittsburgher is always a Pittsburgher. No matter where you end up or where you roam, this city is always home.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
