There are so many shows that you could watch on Netflix – but not all of them are nearly as great as the ones on this list. Here are the best shows to binge watch on Netflix.

1. Grey’s Anatomy

This is probably the most typical Netflix suggestion that you will ever get, but it is so worth the watch. There are so many ups and downs, near deaths, actual deaths and so much more that the entire series is one huge emotional rollercoaster. And the reason you keep watching as creator Shonda Rhimes practically rips your heart out and stomps on it, is due to the fact that the characters are so lovable - not to mention attractive. You can’t help but get invested in their lives and continue to watch because you have to know what happens.

2. Daredevil

Daredevil is arguably one of Netflix’s most successful and popular original series. This show reveals a darker side of Marvel’s Daredevil when compared to the 2003 movie starring Ben Affleck. The visuals and storyline are more raw and unfiltered as you see Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox, leave his law office at night to serve a different kind of justice to the people who plague Hell’s Kitchen with crime and violence. Most of the characters are enthralling and you may even find yourself rooting for some of the villains (I’m looking at you Wesley).

3. The 100

The 100 is one of the greatest shows to come from the CW in years and you can find seasons one and two on Netflix now. This story of one hundred teenagers sent to Earth after a hundred years in space seems like an uninteresting tale, but with characters like Bellamy Blake, who flip flops from doing right and wrong in order to survive, and Clarke Griffin, who always wants to do right by her people, you can’t help but to be absorbed into this compelling and complicated story. With every season comes a new problem to be solved, and producers of the show never fail to make it interesting.

4. Criminal Minds

This show is incredible for all crime drama lovers out there. An incredible cast including Thomas Gibson, Matthew Gray Gubler, Joe Mantegna, and Kirsten Vangsness make up an FBI team that solves extremely heinous crimes, while demonstrating an incredible bond between all of the special agents. Every episode brings new thrills to the audience and challenges to the team the demonstrate how they work together to solve all kinds of mysteries. It’s definitely a must-watch on Netfix.

5. One Tree Hill

Many may not think that this show is a must-watch, but in my opinion, it’s one of the absolute best on Netflix. The characters are relatable, and while the storyline may not be totally realistic at all times, you feel like you’re a part of the story as you watch it happen. It’s not hard to get invested in this show and lovable characters like Brooke Davis, Haley James, and Nathan Scott, and you’ll find that once you’re sucked into the show, you’re stuck until you can finish all nine seasons.

6. Parks and Recreation

"Parks and Rec" is one of the funniest shows to be on Netflix. The story of Leslie Knope and the Pawnee Parks and Recreation Department is told as a mixture of a sitcom and a mockumentary. Some of the funniest actors in the business star in this show including, Amy Poehler, Nick Offerman, Aziz Ansari and many more. This incredible cast can get laughs out of just about anyone that watches the show and also shows a great bond between the characters on the show.

7. Stranger Things

This eight-episode Netflix Original Series is another one of its best. The storyline is arguably one of the most interesting that I have ever seen, and the amazing cast including Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown and Gaten Matarazzo ties the whole show together. There is definitely something special about the characters on the show that draws the audience in and makes them want to watch all eight episodes on one day - which is what I did, please don’t judge me.

Of course there are an insane amount of movies and TV shows that anyone could watch on Netflix, but these shows have to be on everybody’s must-watch list. And if they aren’t, you’re missing out.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
