For as long as I can remember, I have been an avid T.V. watcher. From sitcoms to crime shows, I have truly watched it all. Binge watching shows has been a major hobby of mine for about four years now, so I have definitely watched some of the best - and worst - shows on Netflix. This article is all about the best shows to binge watch whenever you need a break!

1. Stranger Things

I strongly believe that Stranger Things is one of the greatest Netflix originals to ever exist. This mystery show takes place in Indiana during the 1980s and is concentrated on the disappearance of a young boy, Will Byers.

2. The Office

Nearly everyone has seen The Office at this point, but it is way too good to not include. This mockumentary styled sitcom focuses on the lives of coworkers who work at Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. The Office is absolutely hilarious and sometimes a tear-jerker.

3. Black Mirror

Black Mirror is an award-winning British television series that focuses on how detrimental technology can be to a society if it advances too far. This thrilling science fiction show will have you contemplating life for days.

4. Criminal Minds

If you are super into mystery or crime shows, then Criminal Minds is a must-watch. This crime show that takes place in Virginia focuses on crimes being committed rather than who commits the crime. It is also extremely long, so if you want to make a time commitment to a TV show, this is a great show for you.

5. How I Met Your Mother

How I Met Your Mother is a light-hearted sitcom that revolves around the main character, Ted, telling his two children the story of how he met their mother. The story is wildly vivid and unusual, making the show a wonderful comedy.

These shows are some of my favorites of all time, so if I were you, I would definitely give them all a watch!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
