New York City is famous for its endless attractions that never fail to impress. One of its more recently popular attractions seems to be rooftop bars. They allow for beautiful scenic views from atop bounding buildings which are sure to make any nightly dinner an elegant one. What's not to love about food, drinks, breathtaking views, and good company? Interested yet? If so, check out this list of just a few I've found in New York.
1. The Roof at the Gowanus Whole Foods
This rooftop dining experience is made up of a relaxing atmosphere, gorgeous view, and all-you-can-eat food! That's right; this Whole Foods has a rooftop eating area completely set with a wrapped balcony, full bar and restaurant, and crafty wooden tables and chairs! Next time you want a whole new shopping experience, stop by this rooftop at Whole Foods!
2. Gallow Green
Named after a Scottish field where witches were believed to exist, this rooftop is sure to spark unique conversations. It's complete with fairy lights, tattered flags, greenery everywhere and a waiting staff dressed in all white. It's a magical dining experience you won't soon forget.
3. The Delancey
Classy and well kept, this rooftop spot is a popular one for all ages. While music plays throughout the building, the LES rooftop creates an oasis with comfortable white lounge seating and shady areas. It is especially popular come brunch time on Sundays.
4. Juliette
You may not be able to see the Eiffel Tower from this rooftop, but the atmosphere will get you as close to France as one can get in NYC. It's a wonderfully full rooftop scene with a full bar and full French menu, and you can enjoy the outstanding NYC views instead!
5. Sky Room
For a more trendy experience head over to the Sky Room near Times Square. There you'll find a beautiful lounge that includes a ceiling LED lighting display, cabanas and illuminated furniture and floor tiles. Relax, have a drink or just enjoy the view!
