The 20 Best Red, White And Blue Jerseys

In honor of our nation’s birthday, I decided to count down the 20 best jerseys containing a red, white, and blue color scheme.

Our countries’ national teams made quite a handful of appearances, as did a few teams from our nation’s capital. Regardless, here is my take on the most deserving jerseys on the list.

20. The New England Patriots debuted a new logo in 1971, providing us with the only football jersey to make the list. Had helmets been ranked, they could have made a strong case for #1.

19. The Los Angeles Clippers current jersey makes its way onto the list with an excellent balance of red, white, and blue throughout.

18. The United States Men’s National Team makes its way onto the list with this jersey, as it’s quite difficult to argue against the red and white stripes, topped off by blue print for the name and number, giving it a strong mix of all three colors on our nation’s flag.

17. The Washington Nationals make the list by means of their alternate jersey, which displays a logo resembling our nation’s flag.

16. Kansas Basketball makes the list as the only college team, but deserves their spot with this one.

15. The United States Men’s National Team makes its second appearance, this time with its red, white and blue striped jersey.

14. Throwback '76ers jersey with an excellent balance of the colors of our nation’s flag.

13. The 1992 Dream Team, led by some of the greatest players of all time, makes the list at #13. While they are arguably the greatest team on here, there are still a handful of jerseys that edge them out.

12. The 1983 Chicago White Sox make the list as a unanimous choice for best red, white, and blue baseball jersey. The Sox continue to wear these jerseys today, utilizing them for every Sunday home game.

11. The Washington Bullets just miss the Top 10, but nevertheless still rock some of the coolest jerseys the NBA has ever seen.

10. Made for the 2011 Winter Classic, this New York Rangers jersey finds its way into the Top 10.

9. Another 2011 Winter Classic jersey makes the list for its red, white, and blue. This time it’s the Washington Capitals, giving Washington, D.C. its third appearance in the Top 20.

8. This year’s Eastern Conference All-Star game jerseys were an easy pick for the list, especially given that Creighton alum Kyle Korver sported one for the first time in his career.

7.The 2012 Team USA Basketball jersey makes the list for its design, but also for the silhouette on the back that depicts our nation’s flag.

6. This NBA All-Star Game Eastern Conference jersey finds itself on the list at #6 for its color scheme, and stars on the side.

5. The best basketball jersey on the list was worn by the New York Nets during their time in the ABA. The franchise originated in 1967 and survived until 1976, when the ABA collapsed. The franchise’s best player, Julius Erving, is still one of the greatest basketball players to ever play.

4. This jersey duo, worn by the US Men’s Hockey Team at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, lands as the best red, white, and blue color scheme of the current century.

3. If it weren’t for a couple of other historic performances, this jersey very well could have found its place at number one.

2. The 1960 Men’s Hockey Team finds itself second on the list. They were the first US Hockey team to win a gold medal, defeating Canada for the gold.

1. The 1980 US Men’s Hockey Team, also known as the “Miracle on Ice” team, claims the gold again. Their historic performance could have put them on the list with just about any jersey, but that’s simply not necessary as this one is an all-time classic.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
