The 5 Most Low-Key Brilliant Rap One-Liners Ever Written, I Swear

In This Article:

Have you ever heard a line in a song and thought "dang, that was a good one"? Yeah, that is me all the time and I just have to share. I would first like to say that I never really listened to rap growing up, but the older I've gotten and the more exposed to the songs I've become, I have taken the time to actually listen to the lyrics written by some very talented people and it seriously blew my mind. I'm just a little mixed Asian girl with zero rap knowledge, but at least I know it's more than just rhyming a bunch of words together. It is an ART.

Now there are probably way better ones out there but these songs baffled me (in the best way possible) when I heard the lyrics, so let's get into it.

1. "I sneezed on the beat and the beat got sicker" — Beyonce "Partition"

Queen B, you are too clever!

2. "You can pay for school but you can't buy class" — JAY Z "Swagga Like Us"

It's true, you can't. This is Beyonce's husband, by the way! Power couple!

3. "Swimming in the money come and find me, Nemo" — Drake "Forever"

Ha ha like Finding Nemo, get it? Too good.

4. "Real Gs move in silence like lasagna" — Lil Wayne "6 foot 7 foot"

Just think about it...

5. "Yes, I am Weezy but I ain't asthmatic" — Drake ft. Lil Wayne "Miss Me""

For those that don't know, Lil Wayne often goes by "Weezy" as a stage name. Bravo, Wayne.

So there you go, a few of my favorite (and appropriate) rap lyrics that gave me a good laugh. I am inspired and want to be a rapper now. Look out for my mixtape, coming soon!

If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
