Charging through enemy lines
Dealing with only the wind against his wasteful weary face
Seeing only his weapon in hand
Not knowing of the events to come
The clouds started to sulk as his gun whimpered in tears
Click, Click, the soldier had fired
Shivering as his gun fell to the ground
Tears dripping down the side of his cheek
The soldier then started listening to the wind with a plastic face
All of his regret plummeting to the ground like the rain from the clouds
Click, Click, the soldier had fired
Bullets whooshing and buzzing through his head
Laying down now in the damp dark trench bed
He knew then that he was dead
Click ,Click, the soldier had fired
No more cries of pain would be heard
No more gushing of his tears
His country he fought for out of love
But he died questioning if God was waiting for him above
Click, Click, the soldier had fired
The dreaded blood dripping from his soul
The millions of thoughts rushing through his head
He knew then that no more blood would be shed
Because if he had one more bullet to bend
He would use it on himself instead
Click, Click, the soldier had fired
