6 Plus-Size Brands For Women You Might Not Know About, But Should

In This Article:

I've been wearing plus size clothes for a lot of my life. It can be super discouraging sometimes but it doesn't have to be. There are so many brands that have the same clothes in plus sizes as their typical sizes and some who have even better clothes in plus sizes. Also, there is something for everyone's budget!

Here are six plus size brands you might or might not have heard of.

ASOS Curve

Instagram

This is one of my go-to stores! It sometimes takes awhile to ship because it's based in the UK but it's typically always worth the wait. For formals and things like that I buy my nice dresses here, as well as my casual clothes.

Torrid

Instagram

Torrid is a great brand for plus size girls! There's something for just about everyone there and they usually have super great sales.

Forever21+

Instagram

I've been using this brand for a long time. Forever21+ has lots of casual outfits and more recently I go there for cute tops for going out at night or with friends!

Old Navy

Instagram

Old Navy is just a fantastic brand! I really enjoy shopping there because they typically have all the same clothes in plus sizes as they do in regular sizes which isn't exactly something that all brands carry. Old Navy is my ultimate go-to for clothes!

Eloquii

Instagram

I haven't shopped Eloquii yet but from what I noticed on their website it's a lot of cute clothes. One thing that I have noticed compared to other brands mentioned is that it's a little more pricey but I'm sure it's definitely worth the cost.

H&M+

Instagram

I also haven't shopped this brand but from looking at the website it looks a lot like the other non-plus size clothes that H&M carries. Most of the items are basics and just general pieces that everyone should have in their closet.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
