1. Strawberry Park Natural Hot Springs
Who wouldn't want to relax in 104-degree mineral water on a sunny day in Colorado? This activity is perfect for the whole family, but sadly, pets are not allowed.
2. White Water River Rafting
There are multiple options for whitewater rafting trips in Colorado such as rafting down the Arkansas river, the Colorado River, or the Echo Canyon River.
3. Hot Air Ballooning
Simply imagine the feeling of witnessing the sunrise from a hot air balloon overlooking the mountains. If you are afraid of heights, this probably isn't the thing for you. If you're not, then this is a must-do activity!
4. Hiking in the Mountains
Whether it be Mount Evans, Pikes Peak, or the San Juan Mountain Range, a person can't go wrong with a day trip to the mountains to go hiking. From the good exercise to the scenic views, you will not regret spending this time outdoors.
5. Rocky Mountain National Park
The Rocky Mountain National Park is home to glorious views that will be sure to take your breath away. By paying a small amount of money, visitors can drive through the park, hike, fish, and even camp. Be sure to check out Sprague Lake and its reflection of the mountains on the water!
6. Concerts at Red Rocks Amphitheatre
Darius Rucker, Beck, Flume, Lyle Lovett, and many more artists and bands are scheduled to perform at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre this summer. They even offer yogas classes in the Amphitheater during certain days throughout the entire summer.
7. Vail Village
Home to dozens of shops and outdoor activities, Vail is the perfect resort location for the Colorado adventurer with its easy mountain access.
8. Flatirons
The Flatirons, which are a part of the foothills, are known as Boulder's most iconic landmark. Hiking, climbing and picnicking are all very popular at the Flatirons.
9. Bear Lake
