Out here in Wisconsin, we are notorious for cheese curds, and they are a Badger favorite. If it wasn't obvious already, Wisconsin cheese is high quality and rich, and cheese curds are bite-sized, fried cheese balls that are usually served with a creamy dipping sauce. From a late night snack to an appetizer for the table, there are so many different restaurants in Madison that serve cheese curds, and here are some of the best places to get everybody's favorite cheesy dish.

1. The Old Fashioned

The Old Fashioned is located on the Capitol square and is renowned for their mac and cheese, burgers, and especially their cheese curds. These curds are served with paprika sauce, and they look mouth watering.

2. Graze

Also alongside the Capitol, Graze is a Wisconsin favorite. One bite into these curds and you'll be hooked. The cheese is soft and melts in your mouth. These are irrisitable. And while you're here, try one of their Magic Coffees.

3. Dotty's Dumpling's Dowry

Located right near the Kohl Center, Dotty's is a Badger favorite. It is almost impossible to not crave a Dotty's burger with a side of amazing, cheesy curds.

4. Leia's Lunchbox

Leia's Lunchbox, better known as Fried and Fabulous, is every Badger's go-to for late night food. The cart is stationed on State Street, and it is irresistible to pass it at 1 a.m. without getting some fried curds.
