School is just right around the corner, and I felt it extremely necessary to dedicate this article solely to the best places to eat in Norman! I am writing this because when we return to college & reunite with friends, it's common to grab lunch and catch up. The inevitable question, "where should we eat?" rises. This question seems simple but it is in fact extremely difficult to answer. Don't worry, this article contains the solution to this problem. Below is a list containing the top 15 places to eat in Norman, Oklahoma.

1. The Mont

The mont is famous for their amazing cheese fries and tasty swirls! Whether you're going their to eat, or grab a drink with friends, this place will not disappoint. It's both delicious & a good time!

2. BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

BJ's has a variety of items on their menu, everything from deep dish personal pizzas to Parmesan crusted chicken! No matter what you order be sure to save room for dessert. BJ's is famous for their pizookies! If you don't know what a pizookie is, it's a warm cookie served with ice cream and topped with whipped cream. They have plenty of flavor a such as chocolate chunk, Oreo, salted caramel & even s'mores!

3. Chimy's

Chimy's is another campus corner favorite. If you don't have a ticket to a football game, I suggest watching it here. It's always packed, but definitely worth the wait. Chimy's is a fun environment with great food.

4. Tea Cafe

Also located on campus corner, tea cafe is another favorite of mine. They are known for their boba tea & Chinese food. I highly recommend the chicken fried rice. It's the best in town!

5. 180 Meridian Grill

180 is the best sushi in Norman! The best part about this place is their happy hour. Half off sushi Monday through Friday from 3-6pm. I know what you're thinking, half priced sushi?! That's music to every college student's ears.

6. Syrup

Syrup is by far the best place to grab breakfast with your friends. Don't worry if you aren't an early riser, they stay open till 2pm!

7. Victoria's Pasta Shop

This little hole in the wall Italian restaurant is the best Italian in town. They make a delicious Fettuccini Alfredo and even better cheese lasagna. I also want to recommend ordering the cheesy bread as a starter, you won't regret it!

8. Fuzzy's Taco Shop

Fuzzy's is a campus corner favorite, especially on game days! They have delicious tacos & creamy white queso that is to die for. For the 21+ readers, fuzzy's is known for their fishbowl drinks & frozen margaritas.

9. Blackbird Gastropub

If you're looking for some quality comfort food, Blackbirds pub is the place to go! Although it is a little pricey, every savory bite makes it worth it. My personal favorite from here is the meatloaf sliders!

10. Cool Greens

Cool Greens offers a healthier menu then a lot of these other restaurants I have listed. They're known for their salads and wraps. My personal favorite is the chicken Caesar salad wrap- it's delicious!

11. Chuy's

My personal favorite part about Chuy's is their chilli con queso & of course their complimentary jalapeño ranch. It's difficult not to get full on chips before your food comes out but the good news is their food is so good & will make for great left overs!

12. Crimson & whipped cream

This little bakery offers a wide selection of sweet treats. It's also a great quiet place to grab coffee with a friend or get some homework done!

13. Pizza Shuttle

Located on Lindsey, this little pizza place is by far the best pizza in Norman! Don't feel like driving? Good news, they deliver! I recommend an order of the cheesy bread, it's life changing!

14. Koto Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi

This hibachi restaurant is easily the best hibachi I have ever had. Not only is the food amazing, the service is excellent and the chef's will you keep you extremely entertained.

15. O'connell's Irish pub & grill

O'connell's, also referred to as O'con's is another college student favorite. Like a lot of the other top places to eat, this little pub is located on campus corner. They're famous for their delicious burgers & karaoke on Wednesday nights!
