The Best Pictures From the Queens Set of Spider-Man: Homecoming

One of the upcoming theatrical features from the omnipotent Marvel Studios, happens to star a new Spider-Man who is played by actor, Tom Holland. After being introduced in this year's Captain America: Civil War, everyone wants to see what this new film will potentially bring to the big screen come early July of 2017. For the last few months, director Jon Watts along with the cast and crew have been hard at work creating the first chapter in this newest incarnation of our favorite web-slinger. But weirdly enough, they've been filming exterior and interior scenes in the city of Atlanta, Georgia. Spider-Man is a New Yorker who fights crime in New York. Guess the magic of filmmaking can be peculiar at times.

Finally as of last weekend however, the cast and crew has taken their talents to the city of New York where Spider-Man actually lives! They've primarily been filming in Queens which happens to be the hometown of Peter Parker. After getting the awesome opportunity to watch Spider-Man: Homecoming be filmed last Monday, I thought it'd be fun to count down the best pictures the internet has blessed us with for this hot movie set.

8. True New York Fashion Sense

Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland) is seen here rocking a huge tourist shirt and Hello Kitty pajama pants. Somebody lost his school clothes, so it seems!

7. A Selfie to Remember

If I was Tom Holland and I was on a city roof in between takes filming a scene, I'd do exactly what he's doing in this picture too.

6. A Stop in the Comic Book Shop

You never know who is going to come into your local comic book store when these comic book movies are filming around your corner.

5. Spidey is Photogenic (Surprised?)

Set pictures of an actor wearing a superhero suit have proven to look rather silly in the past, but this set picture looks like it jumped off a comic book page. If you're looking for a highly detailed look at the new suit, this is one of the better images out there too!

4. Just Having Fun Out There

Is this visual funnier with or without context? You be the judge. I like to imagine he's dancing to "Take On Me" by a-Ha but that's just me.

3. Multitasking

Sometimes you need to find the time to call your aunt, eat lunch, and fight crime simultaneously when you're Spider-Man.

2. Introducing the New Breakfast Club

The main cast took a break from filming one night in Manhattan to have fun and watch some Cirque du Soleil. According to this picture, they enjoy iconic poses as well.

1. Ready to Save the Day

A quintessential image that captures the essence of Peter Parker/Spider-Man taken on a fire escape in Sunnyside, Queens. He has truly come home and hopefully, he's here to stay for years to come (unless they reboot the character again in 4 years).

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
