The Best Parts of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2"

For everyone who has seen all four Hunger Games movies, I think you would all agree that The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2 was the best of them all. Not only was this movie the one that was most similar to the book, it was presented in a way that made every single person in the movie theater have simultaneous out loud reactions. Here are just a few key moments in the movie that are my personal favorite parts (in no particular order):

1. The opening credits

You may think I’m kidding, but I am 100 percent serious. For you Hunger Game fanatics like myself, seeing the mockingjay at the beginning of the movie was just so exhilarating that it deserves its own section. This was the start of something beautiful.

2. The Katniss-Primrose Hug

During Finnick and Annie’s wedding, Katniss had decided that she was going to go to The Capitol and kill President Snow. She gave Primrose a hug knowing that this was a huge risk and she could possibly never see her sister again.

3. “Welcome to the 76th Hunger Games.”

After arriving at The Capitol and being put into troops, Finnack Odair called The Battle of The Capitol the 76th Hunger Games, thus conceiving one of my favorite quotes from the movie.

4. Haymitch and Effie

Okay but for real, did you even see this movie if you didn’t freak out when Haymitch and Effie kissed? Seriously, this was a long time coming and I am so happy it finally happened.

5. Pre-shooting President Snow aka pre-shooting President Coin

Katniss walks out for President Snow’s execution and the scene is so intense and thrilling. And for everyone who read the books, you begin to realize that this is the scene that she kills President Coin and you get even more excited for this scene to happen.

6. When Katniss sees Primrose as a medic

This is one of the saddest parts of the movie, but also such a vital moment. Katniss sees Primrose acting as a medic for those who were just killed by The Capitol and moments later, witnesses her death. It’s such an emotional scene, but it was executed so well.

7. Seeing Peeta and Katniss in the field playing with their children.

If you didn’t already love Josh Hutcherson enough, you’ll fall even more in love after this scene. Because seriously, what’s better than watching the beautiful Josh Hutcherson play with children? The answer is nothing – there is absolutely nothing better.

8. Real or not real?

And let the tears fall. Peeta and Katniss just have the cutest relationship. After everything they’ve been through, this is the scene that ties everything together and makes everything that much better.

9. “Stay with me.”

This was my personal favorite scene of the whole movie. I could watch this scene over and over again and never get tired of it. When Peeta wants nothing but to give up, Katniss kisses him and says, “Stay with me.” Seriously, what more could you ask for?

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
