Becoming A College RA Changed My Life, And It Can Do The Same For You

Thinking about saving time on travel? Become an RA!

Thinking about how you will make new friends? Become an RA!

An RA, or Resident Assistant, is an ideal job for college students who like a work-life balance and want to have peace of mind with financial and social issues.

RAs are an asset that any resident can utilize in their years at college. They usually carry information regarding services the university has to offer and can help residents with stuff such as time management and social skills through events where residents can meet other residents in their dorms.

RAs, while being amazing human beings, are also amazing friends to have. They are born leaders and know how to handle situations you might never want to come across. They have the knowledge to help their residents and help themselves. As I am an RA myself, I can say it has been an amazing experience and will be an experience I will remember and cherish for my life.

If anyone of you college students gets a chance to become an RA, become one. It is the best decision you might make in your college career. Also, it looks nice on your resume 😉

Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer. The winter has been lagging, the days are short and dark, and no one is quite themselves due to lack of energy and sunlight. Let's face it: life is ten times better in the summertime.
