I don't know about you but I am a sucker for a good movie. You know not just an okay movie but like a really good movie. A movie that makes you want to jump right into the story. A movie that gets you to connect with the characters and makes you feel like you really know them. Since the weather has been doom and gloom I have been partaking in my fair share of movie overload. So here live from Lubbock are the Top 10 best movies of all time.
Forrest Gump
Tom Hanks brings to life a character we all want to be friends with and can relate to in some of the most unique ways. arguably one of the most quoted movies. So grab yourself a Dr. Pepper and enjoy this classic film.
The Princess Diaries
The absolute best teen movie of its time and still to this day. We were all hoping that we had a grandmother that was a queen and just waiting to make us a princess. So Tiaras off to you Princess Mia we all wanted and still want to be you.
Toy Story
This movie helped instilled the phrase "when the cats away the mice will play" theory in the back of our minds. However, I don't think I ever watched a movie that taught me more about caring for others.
How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days
This movie is the ultimate romcom. Kate Hudson is everything you want to be and Matthew McConaughey is the guy of your dreams! This movie perfectly combines humor all while being able to work in the best balance of romance.
The Breakfast Club
An absolute classic. I mean you can't tell me you didn't practice the fist pump at the very end. If you want to know where I found my teenage angst it was right here from this movie.
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
This movie could play are large part into me taking some "sick days" in my college career. This movie is an instantly funny good mood kind of movie. It had to make my top 10.
Back to the Future
If you can't tell the 80's was a prime time for classic movies. This movie will transport you... literally! Just kidding but this movie will make you wish your first car was a DeLorean.
The Great Gatsby
The book itself is an absolute master piece. So lets all raise a glass to F. Scott Fitzgerald. Gatsby is able to combine the right amount of mystery with luxury we all want in our lives. "A little party never killed nobody," did it?
Steel Magnolias
This movie is exactly like a southern women. It's sweet, kind, but its got a fire in the belly of it. Hands down one of my favorite movies. Also the fact that Julia Roberts is in this classic makes it that much better.
Mamma Mia!
Technically this is a musical but can we just all agree. WOW! Meryl! Amanda! Everyone in this entire film is amazing this movie is the reason I am a dancing queen.
