Everyone loves a hearty Thanksgiving meal, but after baking all day, what do you do with all the leftovers in your fridge? You don’t want the same thing over again, so why not revamp these dishes into something innovative and great tasting!
1. Turkey soup
Such an easy way to use that leftover turkey carcass is to throw it in a crockpot with some broth and other Thanksgiving foods, like potatoes and green beans. This is an amazing way to get a cozy meal for the colder weather and not waste good food.
2. Turkey and waffles
Chicken and waffles are good. Turkey and waffles, with cranberry syrup..amazing. You can even use the stuffing to make the waffles!
3. Turkey panini
Leftover turkey, cranberries, and brie. Throw it into a panini press or grill it on a pan, either way, it’ll taste great.
4. Vegetable frittata
Use those leftover veggies, throw in some cheese and eggs, and you’ve got a pretty good vegetable frittata. Vegetarian-friendly, those of us who don’t like turkey still have leftovers, too!
5. Turkey pot pie
Use leftover turkey, green beans, potatoes, all you need is puff pastry. This is an easy dish to throw together to get rid of that green bean casserole you had and the extra turkey.
6. Potato pancakes
Using potatoes to make the pancakes, some turkey and gravy on top, and a fried egg, you can make an amazing meal with leftovers.
7. Stuffed mushrooms
Use some mushrooms caps stuffed with stuffing and you can even add some turkey, topping off with some cheese for a great appetizer.
8. Turkey chili
Add some leftover turkey to plain chili and add some spice for a kick. You can even eat it on a bed of leftover mashed potatoes with some melted cheese on top for a hearty meal.
Don't let that amazing food you slaved over for Thanksgiving go to waste. Use the leftovers in new, creative ways you and your family won't even realize are based on staple Thanksgiving dishes.
