We all know the feeling of wanting some new makeup, it's like when we walk past Sephora it is just calling your name. We also know the pain of finding a product in Sephora that you love and then looking a the price and want to start crying, because it's just not fair.
After spending too much money on makeup that I really can't afford, I thought to myself that there had to be some good dupe makeup brand out there. So I went to my computer and started looking up cheap makeup brands that had excellent reviews. The amount of dupe products that I found will actually blow your mind, you will never want to buy designer makeup again.
1. Primer
This product actually blew my mind, here I had been spending almost $40 for a Smashbox Primer! Once I did some research I found this amazing NYX Primer that did the exact same thing. You can get the NYX Primer for just $13 at any Ulta, Target or Walmart!
2. Lip Stick
Everyone is obsessed with the Kylie Jenner Lip Kits, but if you don't want to drop $30 on a lipstick then ColourPop is the place for you. If you love the shade Exposed then get the dupe from ColourPop in Echo Park. ColourPop lasts all day and the shades are to die for!
3. Foundation
I used to live by Make Up For Ever's Ultra HD Stick Foundation, I think it has some of the best coverage I have ever seen. Once I found this dupe my life was forever changed. The Stick Foundation and the Liquid Foundation are basically the same thing so once I found the Revlon Photo Ready Airbrush Foundation it was life changing. Instead of paying $43 for the Make Up For Ever Foundation you can pay $13!
4. Contour Kit
I am very guilty of buying the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit, but who can blame me when it's just so beautiful! But $40 is a little too expensive for my preference, so when I found the NYX Contour Kit is just as good! It comes with so many different shades it's perfect for any skin tone!
5. Highlight
Personally, I believe that ColourPop has created the best dupes of all times when it comes to makeup. I have been dying to get the BECCA Highlighter in Opal forever, but I finally came across a ColourPop Highlighter in Wisp that's exactly the same! The BECCA Highlighter is 30 dollars more than the ColourPop one, which is only $8!
