In This Article:

We all have that one person in the family or friend circle that waits until the weekend, or even the day before Christmas, to get their shopping done. Sometimes it's just inevitable. I mean, what is Christmas without the last-minute shoppers?

Well fellow procrastinators, I am happy to report that some businesses are looking out for us. They are extending their hours to accommodate us and I am so grateful!

Kohl's

Starting Friday, Kohl's stores will be open 24 hours until December 24th!

Walmart

Many locations are already open 24 hours, but Walmart has also decided to stay open until 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

J.C. Penney

Opening at 8 a.m. now daily through December 23rd, and 7 a.m. on Christmas Eve. They also will be back open the day after Christmas at 6 a.m.

Target

Target is usually open until midnight, but some locations vary.

Macy's

Macy's stores will be open from 7 a.m. to midnight through December 23rd, and open until 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

GameStop

This one was a surprise! GameStop stores will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. through December 23rd, and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve!

Amazon

My all0time favorite, Amazon is offering free two-hour delivery up until midnight on Christmas Eve through Prime Now! Not all markets are available but prime members have access to free same-day delivery and free one-day shipping up until December 23rd and 24th.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
