Best is yet to Come

The other day I came across a quote that I felt really impacted the way I was thinking about things lately. So many of us through both good times and bad times constantly. People who we thought would be in our lives forever hurt us and can even kick us again when we're really down. When these things happen it's natural for us to get angry and negatively change the way you think about friendships, relationships, and people. Although it's true that not everyone has the same heart as you and that some people are cold enough to do terrible things, it's important to maybe try to handle hardships in a more positive though process. The quote I came across the other day was, "We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us". When people hurt you it's hard to let it go but it's important to know that it is OKAY for people to leave your life. Most of us have this though of how our lives are and should be and aren't open to change. I'm telling you to let go of those toxic people in your life. God brings those people in to make you stronger. If you finally let go of those toxic people, situations, and energy, you'll see that new people and things will enter that actually help you and make you happy. The life God has planned for us could even be better for us than the life we have planned for ourselves In our head. In conclusion this quote really inspired me to do three things: be open to change, okay that sometimes things won't make sense, and always stay true to yourself.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
