As I started my journey of cooking and baking, brownies sounded the easiest. The first time I made brownies they were out of a box with my church for an event. While the brownies were good, they were missing the “homemade” feel. So I searched and searched for the best brownie recipe. After countless attempts I finally found my favorite recipe! And then I lost it… And found it again! Now the wait is over, here it is:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Start by mixing the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
1 Cup Sugar
½ Cup Flour
1/3 Cup Cocoa
¼ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Baking Powder
After mixing the dry ingredients, add in your wet ingredients.
2 Eggs
½ Cup Vegetable Oil
1 teaspoon Vanilla
Grease a pan. In my opinion size doesn’t matter, but I usually use a 9x13.
Pour your mixture in your pan.
**This is totally optional, but I usually sprinkle in chocolate chips or even peanut butter chips.
Bake @ 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes and enjoy!
