The holidays are here, folks. Finals are over and Christmas is officially in full swing! We only have three weeks to completely binge watch all the classic (and maybe not-so-classic, but still just as good) holiday movies on Netflix. If you're looking to kick back with some hot cocoa and a warm fuzzy blanket check out the best movies to accompany your Christmas relaxation.
1. "The Santa Clause"
Who doesn't love a good Tim Allen movie? This movie is a classic 90's holiday film. It's got everything you could possibly want for the holidays -- Santa, his elves, and a comedic main character. This movie is a stand-out to me because it lacks the "romance" factor that you'll find in almost every other Christmas movie. The storyline is completely based upon a father-son relationship, and it'll make you shed a few tears for sure.
2. "The Legend of Frosty the Snowman"
If you didn't watch this movie in elementary school during the holidays, you must have not grown up in America. This movie was always my teachers' go-to, and I love the classic storyline. Frosty is such an iconic Christmas character, and this movie brings back all my seven-year-old feels.
3. "Christmas with the Kranks"
Again, another Tim Allen classic (he must love the holidays). "Christmas with the Kranks" is a hilarious family film that will make you really get in the Christmas spirit (because the Kranks, clearly aren't).
4. "Love Actually"
It totally does not need to be Christmas time for you to watch this movie, but if you want an all around romantic movie that will make you feel sad about being single, then ditch the hot cocoa, grab your wine, and let the movie roll.
5. "Miracle on 34th Street"
Okay, I have personally never seen this one (judge all you want) but what I know is that this movie plays on every big television network during the holidays. So if you're wanting to watch one of the absolute classics that, I'm sure, will never disappoint, turn this one on and grab your snacks!
Regardless if you're alone or with loved ones this holiday season, you will always have Netflix to count on.
