Very few people have the opportunity to have a best friend turn into a "sister." More than a friend, they become part of your family, and you become part of theirs. There comes a time when your friendship turns into sisterhood, and at that time, a line is crossed. If you find that your best friend and yourself do a majority of these things, you might be more than best friends, but more like sisters.

1. You go over to their house uninvited. You don't even bother ringing the doorbell. When you walk in the door, everyone greets you like a member of the family. They might ask you how your day was, or bust you up for leaving trash in the living room from the day before.

2. You have a drawer of clothes at their place. It's a toss up on where you spend most of your time. Either way, you two are always together. You might even have a toothbrush at their house because you sleep over there so frequently.

3. People ask if you two are related. You two are never more than 5 feet from each other and your Instagram's are filled with pictures of the two of you together. People start asking if you are related and are shocked when they find out you aren't.

4. Their problems becomes your problems. The chem test they are stressing about? You start stressing about it to. A boy just broke her heart? You already have three cartons of Ben and Jerry's, Chinese food, and tissues ready.

5. You fight like siblings. Instead of bickering and not talking to each other for a few weeks when you guys argue, you are already apologizing not even 4 hours later. It is impossible to be mad at them because they are your go to person.

6. You steal each other's clothes and fight about it. Friends would just say "hey, no problem just give it back to me when you can." Us? We argue how they are always stealing our clothes without asking and yet, we do the same to them.

7. You don't argue about who's paying because you know in the end, it will be even. You are both constantly buying each other things. Whether it be tacos, coffee, or make up You know when all is said and done, you both will be even.

8. If you are invited to a party, so is she. You guys don't go anywhere without each other. People know that if they invite you, they are inviting your best friend too.

9. You realize that life with them is so much better than life without them. They always know just what to say or do, no matter what kind of mood you are in. They can read you like a book and know when to leave you be or drag you out of your bed.

10. You both have accepted that you're stuck together forever. You have been through everything together. First heart break, first date, first period (ew). Yet you guys are still best friends. Having gone through the good and the bad has brought you two into sisterhood.

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…
