When Your Sister Is Your Best Friend

There is something so special about a sister.

When Your Sister Is Your Best Friend

Throughout my life, I have been very close to my sister Hannah. We always had each others' backs, even when we were young kids. I did not really know it was possible, but as we got older we got even closer. Hannah is my rock, my go-to, and my favorite person to laugh with.

My sister is one of the best people in the world. She cares about everyone, has a big heart, and is the sassiest person in the world. Best of all, she is genuinely a good person. I admire her for that because there are not many people out there who have such good intentions and does things for the people she cares about without respecting anything in return. She also is one of the smartest people I know. I enjoy bragging about her success to the people I know.

On top of being a good person, she is so strong. Mentally and physically, she is more than I could ever be. Even in sadness and anger she can recognize that everything happens for a reason. I look to her for comfort. I also know that if we ever tried to fight each other, she would have me on the ground in an instant. Note to self: Don't mess with Hannah!

I could not be more thankful for the relationship I have with Hannah. I remember the day that we promised each other that we would always be friends, even when we are adults on our own someday. I fully intend to keep that promise. Without my best friend, I would be so lost. I do not know who else I would look up to or who else I would brag about to people I know. Thank you for being a stellar best friend and person, Hannah. I love you seester!
