Foreigner movies tend to fall into the misconception of being tedious and not for everyone, but there's a whole world out there full of very different international movies for every taste possible. Plus, this movies are not only great but also eye-opening to different cultures and places.

From Oscar-nominated and awards winning to some crowd popular movies, this list to come includes a variety of all the different tastes out there:

1. La Vita e Bella (Life is Beautiful)

This Italian comedy-drama portraits a World War II film like nothing else out there. One of my all-time favorite movies.

2. Cidade de Deus (City of God)

A must-watch drama about the Brazilian crime in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro.

3. Le fabuleux Destin D'Amelie Poulain

If you like movies with a beautiful aesthetics and an outstanding soundtrack, "Amelie" should be on your list ASAP.

4. Holy Motors

Another French movie, this one is about a mysterious man and his different roles throughout every stop of his day. (And Eva Mendes is on it!).

5. Run Lola Run

Visually amazing, this German movie is about racing time.

6. Blue is The Warmest Color

Alright, maybe I do have a thing for French movies (warning: there are more to come). A fantastic same-gender teen romance.

7. Love per Square Foot

A Hindi romance that goes beyond the usual love. A Netflix original, this one is about two people that decide to get married for convenience so they can buy a house.

8. Volver

A Spanish mystery about three women, and a secret. Big plus: it can get pretty funny and Penélope Cruz is on it, so why would you not watch it?

9. Tropa de Elite (Elite Squad)

Another Brazilian delicacy about the favelas, drug trafficking and violence in Rio de Janeiro. This fantastic film shows the battle of the elite squad trying to take down drug dealers. Also, the main actor is Wagner Moura (aka: Pablo Escobar in Narcos).

10. Verso La Vita (Cinema Paradiso)

Italian movies have a special place in my heart, maybe is the accent or the so lovable characters. This one is about a local theater, an old man and a little boy passionate about films; what not to love?

11. Oldboy

A Korean mystery masterpiece. Enough said.

12. Train to Busan

If you're a fan of zombie movies, this is a must watch. This Korean movie has some much action and it will keep you entertained the entire way.

13. Klown

A guy trying to prove his fatherhood skills by taking his girlfriend's son on a trip. Be prepared to laugh out loud at this Danish comedy (Thanks, Steffen).

14. Hoje Eu Quero Voltar Sozinho (The Way He Looks)

Alright, it is another Brazilian movie, but enough about the slums violence. This one is a romantic movie about a blind teenager understanding his world while earning his independence.

15. White Material

A political drama for you guys. A movie about a French woman helping in a coffee plantation in Africa.

16. Au Revoir Les Enfants

Finally, the last French movie in here (ops). A World War II movie about a boy in a French boarding school protecting his Jewish friends from the Holocaust.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
