The semester is almost over. That means it's time to clean out the fridge. And what better way to do that than combine containers of food into meals that you can enjoy (and not spill on your study guides).
Here are three super easy, in-the-zone meals I will definitely make during finals week.
1. Breakfast - Granola
Mix some chewy bars into Greek yogurt and it actually can be a good bowl of granola. It's quick and easy, and I can have a few spoonfuls even if I oversleep (or undersleep, honestly).
2. Lunch - Stir fry
This stir fry is nothing fancy. Just boil some ramen (or really any other kind of pasta) and add some chopped veggies and meat. I like chicken for this dish. What really makes it stir-fry is to mix in some sauce. For chicken, a rich barbecue sauce adds a lot of flavor. Make a few servings worth, and that's a great lunch.
3. Dinner - Thanksgiving returns
I have boxes of stove-top stuffing in my pantry. Those are great to make for dinner. I didn't bring any turkey from home, but if you have instant mashed potatoes and some leftover gravy, you can do a vegetarian Thanksgiving leftover dish. And it takes five minutes. What more could a hungry college student ask for?
I will definitely try these over the next week. I just hope I'm as confident about the finals as I am about this yummy food.
