9 Songs That Prove Fall Is The Best Time For Music

In This Article:

I may be a little biased because my birthday is in the middle of fall, but let's take a minute to be honest with ourselves: Fall is the best season hands down. And these artists released some amazing music just in time to help me prove it to you!

1. "Without Me" by Halsey

https://www.spin.com/2018/10/halsey-without-me-g-eazy-video/

Halsey will forever and always be my number one girl. She's my everything, and this song is no exception. The raw emotions and talent this girl has poured into this song will leave you will make you want to sing along or cry your heart out (or maybe both)!

2. "thank u. next" by Ariana Grande

https://www.kqed.org/pop/107051/ariana-grande-shouts-out-famous-exes-on-thank-u-next-does-not-come-out-as-bi

I mean seriously Ariana, do you ever sleep? This girl is a non-stop music machine and she is killing it on the daily over here! I just can't wait to see what she comes up with next. thank u. next!

3. "Emotion" by Astrid S

It's been a hot second since this girl released some music, but she is the definition of "back and better than ever" with this song. It's got me all up in my feels, and I'm not mad at all. (Did you forget that I've got a thing called emotion?)

4. "Ruin My Life" by Zara Larsson

https://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/pop/8480601/zara-larsson-ruin-my-life

This girl is clearly trying to ruin MY life by getting this song stuck in my head 24/7. I swear all I do is sing this song on repeat everywhere I go. (I'm definitely starting to annoy some people by now... Oops.)

5. "1999" by Charli XCX ft. Troye Sivan

https://consequenceofsound.net/2018/10/charli-xcx-1999-troye-sivan-song/

If you weren't nostalgic for the 90's before, you sure are now! With all the denim on denim and leather these two have been sporting lately, it's making me want to break out all my 90's bests and rock to this beat like never before!

6. "Blow That Smoke" by Major Later ft. Tove Lo

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b63IPrrdPOU

I'll tell you something that's so good for me, singing along to this song at the top of my lungs! .... Probably not as great for my roommates, but hey. You win some, you lose some right?

7. "Happier" by Marshmello And Bastille

https://dancingastronaut.com/2018/08/marshmello-lends-upbeat-production-bastilles-happier/

Our first male-only song of the list, and while technically it was released at the end of the summer, we all know it takes a few weeks for a song to gain momentum and popularity, which means you only started listening to it in early fall, meaning I can totally add it to this list... That's how math works right?

8. "The Feeling" by The Chainsmokers ft. Kelsea Ballerini

https://directlyrics.com/the-chainsmokers-this-feeling-lyrics.html

Honestly, the Chainsmokers have really proven themselves to be a diverse duo. While they obviously remain an EDM band for the majority of the time, they've really created some great pop and even slow songs.

9. "Electricity" by Dua Lipa

https://www.stereogum.com/2013197/silk-city-electricity-feat-dua-lipa-video/video/

I mean honestly, is there anything this girl can't do because creating banger after banger is not one of them! She's got us all wrapped around her finger with this song. And the video is just as hot!

Wow. What a list. What a season. What a jam. So add these songs for the ultimate fall playlist! (Quickly before all the Christmas songs take over.)

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
