If you're someone who loves makeup just as much as I do, you know that sometimes it can be difficult to buy a $32 blush when you're on a budget. I'm here to help because sometimes, you have to be frugal. There are some products out there that can match perfectly from quality, coverage, color and consistency to the most high-end ones. Here are some dupes that will have you looking as dope as Kim Kardashian.

1. MAC Lip Pencil in Brick vs. NYX Lip Pencil in Brick House

Both of these lip pencils have the same exact red and brown coloring, and compared to the $16.50 MAC one, the NYX one is only $7.99. NYX is also cruelty-free, while MAC still tests on animals, so it's a win-win.

2. NARS Creamy Radiant Concealer vs. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

These products are very similar, both in formula and packaging. To be honest, I actually prefer the Maybelline one over Nars because the formula is less heavy and easier to blend. The NARS concealer is a whopping $29, and the Maybelline one is only $4.84. It's a steal.

3. Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder vs. L'Oreal Paris Makeup Infallible Pro-Sweep & Lock Loose Matte Setting Face Powder

Both of these products can be used to set your face makeup and bake it. If you don't know what baking means (in the makeup world), google it. Set this powder underneath your contour, and it'll be sharp enough to cut someone. The Laura Mercier powder is priced at $38, while the L'Oreal is $6.64 for the same amount of product.

4. Too Faced Born This Way Foundation vs. L'Oreal True Match Foundation

Although the Too Faced foundation is my go-to for whenever I want a flawless finish, True Match does give a very similar result. Both of these foundations have a matte finish and completely cover every imperfection. They are both very build-able and creamy. Honestly, if you put them side by side in cups, I probably could not tell the difference. The Too Faced foundation is $39, and the L'Oreal is $8.42.

5. Kylie Cosmetics Matte Liquid Lipstick vs. ColourPop Cosmetics Ultra Matte Lip

First, ColourPop is amazing because they have the most quality products at the most amazing prices. Since you've probably been relentlessly trying to get your hands on a Kylie Lip Kit, you could always opt for the cheaper and just as great version. They are literally the same color. The ColourPop Matte Lipstick is $11.80, and Kylie's lip kit is $29.

6. Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette vs. Maybelline Blushed Nudes Palette

What could be better besides a whole palette that matches another whole palette. Surprisingly, the formulation and pigmentation of the eyeshadows in the Maybelline palette is very similar to those in the Naked 3. The packaging is also smaller, so it is easy to travel with. Both palettes include dusty rose and gold colors, but one is significantly cheaper. The Urban Decay one is priced at $54, while the Maybelline one is $7.78.

7. Beauty Blender vs. Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

Beauty blending sponges have been all the rage in the makeup world; they're just really easy and fun to use. The Beauty Blender sponge is $20, which is sort of crazy, and the Real Techniques sponge has a flat side and a pointy one for small crevices of the face (Don't judge me for saying "crevices;" I hate the word too). The Real Techniques one is only $9.24 for two!

8. Becca Champagne Pop Highlighter vs. Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips in Vegas Strip

I saved the best for last; who doesn't love a good highlight? I don't know. Both of these are very similar in pigmentation and will have you shining bright like a diamond. Your highlight will be brighter than your future. Just kidding, but it'll be on "fleek." Champagne Pop is $38, and the Physician's Formula is $6.17.

All of these products will have you looking fabulous, and you won't even have to break your piggy bank. Go beat your face, and work these drugstore dupes like the queen that you are.

Sincerely,

Just another frugal college girl

two women enjoying confetti

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Syllabus Week As Told By Kourtney Kardashian

Feeling Lost During Syllabus Week? You're Not Alone!

Kourtney Kardashian

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
